A resident of Lake Worth, FL passed away peacefully on November 6, 2012 surrounded by loved ones. She was born Louise Sharin on September 18, 1930 to Maurice Sharin and Frances Robbins Sharin in New York City, NY. When she was still small, the depression hit, and her parents moved to the large Robbins family home in Worcester, MA, while her father looked for work. From that time on, they lived in Worcester, where she and her younger sister, Bobbie, grew up as part of the large, close Robbins family. Louise went to local schools, graduating from Commerce High School in 1948. As a young adult, she spent a great deal of her time living and working in Florida, but came back to Worcester frequently to see her family there, especially her mother, with whom she had a close and loving relationship. Louise met her future husband, Hugh Lawhon, who was then serving in the United States Navy. The two were married on April 17, 1953 in Miami Beach, FL and remained happily married for 59 years. They settled in Lake Worth, FL. Louise is survived by Hugh and their two children, Linda Coshun and Robert Lawhon. Louise was blessed with seven grandchildren, Travis, Brett, Bailey, Madison, Sawyer, Riley, and Jackson. She is also survived by her sister, Bobbie Lemberg of Auburn, CA. From the age of 14 through her 30's she worked as a waitress. At age 40 she started her own business. Through Diet Masters she devoted most of her adult life to helping people reach and maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle. Last year she started her own blog in which she posted daily tips, recipes and poems to lose weight by. You can visit her blog at www.thedietlady.com. Louise also authored books on low calorie cooking and dieting. She taught cooking classes and had a very successful catering business in Palm Beach. Everyone who came in contact with Louise was drawn to her warm and friendly personality, her caring nature, her sense of fun, and her ready smile. She lives in our hearts forever. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 15 at 10:00 AM in Palm Beach National Chapel, located at 10055 Heritage Farms Road. Lake Worth, FL 33449

My Grandma was one of the most important women in my life. I have so many fond memories with her that I will never forget. I'll miss everything about her. She was a kind, loving, hardworking, wonderful women and a fabulous Grandma. I love her with all of my heart and I am so sad that I will never get to have another hug, conversation, and laugh with her. I'll miss playing dominos with her. She taught me to enjoy reading. Everytime I pick up a book I think of her. The thought of her being gone kills me, but she will remain in my heart for the rest of my life. I love you Grandma.

Louise was my wonderful older sister.
We had many "sister trips," and even though we lived across the country from each other, we talked or emailed almost every day. She was always there for me when I needed her, and I will miss her terribly. She leaves a legacy of love to all of us.

To my dear and big-hearted cousin, Calorie counting will never be the same! You were a delight to know and, over this last year, a wonderful e-mail pal. What fun we had! I extend my love to your family, now and always.
