Maria Teresa Carrasquillo Emmanuelli, resident of Century Village, West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away after a three year stay at Palm Gardens Nursing Home, West Palm Beach. She was 103 years old. Teresa was born in Coamo, Puerto Rico in 1913, the daughter of Jose Tomas Carrasquillo and Martina De Jesus Alvarado. Teresa passed away on September 9, 2016. Teresa was married to Arcadio Emmanuelli in 1931 until he preceded her in 2006 almost 75 years later. For many years she worked as a seamstress in New York until she retired. She moved with her late husband to Century Village in 2004. She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister, Pello, Diego, Tomas, Hector, and Ana. She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Freida T. Peters of Pennsylvania. She is survived by two sisters and one brother all of Puerto Rico, Elia, Elizabeth, and William, one daughter of West Palm Beach, Aida, and four grandchildren Myrna, Robert, David, and William Rodriguez. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 6411 Parker Avenue on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 10:00AM until Funeral services at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
