Family-Placed Funeral Notice

MARTIN JOSEPH GLENNON 88 years old, died Friday September 15, 2006 in Greenacres, Florida. Formerly of Hull, Massachusetts, son of Martin Glennon and Peritia Sauer of Cambridge, MA. Loving father of Martin F. Glennon of Hull, MA, Robert Glennon of Lake Worth , FL, and Diane Glennon Nicholls of Pembroke , MA, brother of the late Edmond Glennon of Hull, MA. Marty is survived by eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was employed for many years by Bethlehem Steel at the Quincy Shipyard where he was involved in the building of the LNG tanker, then went to AMOCO were he was in charge of building the first tugboat/barge combination that carried iron ore across The Great Lakes. Marty was well respected in his field. Private family services will be held Friday at Saint Matthews Catholic Church. Contributions may be made in his memory to the Trisha Nicholls Foundation In care of Kim Nicholls 74 Archer Avenue, Pembroke , MA 02359.
