I would like to share my sympathy and condolences with Virginia and Michael's family. It was an honor to have breakfast with Michael, Virginia and Charlott almost 5 days a week, when in Palm Beach. I learned a lot from his wisdom and how he talked and treated people. I will sadly miss this great man.

We, the family of Michael A. Longo, thank all of you for your condolences and expressions of love and concern. He will live on in our hearts and he will thrive in our memories. We picture him in Jesus' loving arms resting at peace. Michael carried his burden with strength and boundless courage. He never complained about the cross His Saviour asked him to bear. We look to Jesus and pray for the strength to carry our crosses as Michael did. We love you, Father, husband, brother and friend.

Dear Virginia and family:

Our heart goes out to you! We are very sorry for your loss. Michael's death has stunned those of us, who were close to him. We are thankful to have had the honor and pleasure of knowing Michael.

Our dearest Michael was the quintessential gentleman and a very dear friend. We feel blessed to have the privilege of spending together the most memorable time at various events. We enjoyed over the years volunteering together for worthy causes, discussing " world events", watching sports, sharing many holidays and listening to the beautiful Opera music.

Michael was a delightful person to spend time with, smart, intelligent, brilliant, always had a smile on his face and a good word for every one he encountered. He understood true meaning of life and it's joys. He loved very much his family, friends and the community.

Michael was well loved and respected in Palm Beach for all his kindness and for his active support of various charities and arts. It is painful to realize, that we will never again see his smiling face, specially on Sundays. Michael passing is a great loss to the community and most personally of a long standing, most trusted and respected friend.

Our heartfelt sympathy to his beloved Virginia, Gail, Mike and your families.
Till we meet again dear friend ! We will miss you greatly.

To the Family of Dr. Longo

My sincere sympathy to your family in the passing a Dr. Longo. He vision brought medical education teaching to Palm Beach with the first osteopathic post graduate program. I am proud to be one of the charter members of this program that has stayed in the community and raised my family here since 1983. He was also technically as gifted of a surgeon in the operating room with great hands and experience. He continued his vision to expand the osteopathic medical education with the opening of Wellington Regional Medical Center. He fought the prejudice at that time against the allopathic community who viewed many of us as less qualified. For all of us who touched by his skill, bedside manner, vision and concern for the osteopathic family in Palm Beach I am forever respectful of a great man. Peace be with you and your family always.

Fraternally,

James W. Smith Jr. D.O.
