Mickey Rose Obituary

MICKEY ROSE Mickey Rose, at 1450 SE Brewster Place, Stuart, died Tuesday, January 21, 2003 at her home. Mickey was born in Paris, France, daughter of John Francis and Ruth F. Gehan. She spent her early childhood in Genoa, Italy and later lived at 1001 Park Avenue in New York City. She was a beloved mother and housewife and a caring and loving friend of many. She was an active member of the St. Francis de Sales Association and The Alliance for the Mentally Ill. Survivors include her husband, Robert Zimmer Rose of Stuart; a daughter, Mary Therese Rose of West Hartford, Connecticut; a son, John Gehari Rose of Dowingtown, Pennsylvania; a daughter, Claire Rose Kast of Cincinnati, Ohio and five grandchildren: Gannon, Melissa, Ryan, Michael and Hannah. Friends may call from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM Thursday, January 23 at Aycock Funeral Home, 505 S. Federal Highway, Stuart, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 24. Those who wish may contribute to either St. Joseph Church, 1200 E. 10th St., Stuart, FL 34996; or to Hospice of Martin & St. Lucie, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997.
