Miriam Link Obituary
Miriam J. Link, 85, died at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami after she was struck Aug. 5 in the 22000 block of Camino Del Mar.
According to a sheriff's crash report, Link was waiting at a crosswalk to be picked up by her caretaker, who was driving Link's vehicle. Delrose M. Reynolds, 57, of Coral Springs, backed a 2000 Lexus out of a parking spot to get close to Link.
But Reynolds hit the accelerator pedal thinking it was the brake pedal, the report said. She collided with the raised curb and then struck a wood pole, the report stated. The car continued backing and struck Link, knocking her to the ground with critical injuries.
Link was rushed to Delray Medical Center and later transferred to Jackson Hospital.
Charges from the crash are pending, the report stated.

OMG Jodi - I can't stop crying. I saw mom in August with Lia and spent the day showing photos. I got busy, my home is under contract. I've tried calling so many times - I went to her home yesterday...She was my room mate, my friend, my daughters nana. I am so so so sorry. My love to you and the grandchildren.
