Family-Placed Obituary
PETER P. CONWAY Peter P. Conway of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Dawson Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center of Dawson Springs, KY. Mr. Conway was born January 25, 1937 in Chicago, IL. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Kenyon College and a degree in education from Ohio State University. During his lifetime he was a Junior High School Teacher for approximately ten years. Additionally, he was a juvenile counselor and a marriage mediator. He also started the child support enforcement program in West Palm Beach, FL. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Mr. Conway is survived by his wife, Sheila Conway of Madisonville, KY; a daughter, Kimberly Douthitt of Lexington, KY; a son, Christopher (Karen) Conway of Lawrenceville, NJ; a step-son, Tony (Kimberly) Burford of Madisonville, KY, and a brother, James R. (Jeannie) Conway of Denver, CO. Additionally, he is survived by seven grandchildren, Emily and Kellen Conway, Kent Beeny, Makayla Beeny, Victoria Burford, Aubrey Burford and Jolee Burford. Preceding Mr. Conway in death were his parents, James Richard Conway and Margaret Pickin Conway. A Memorial Service will be held in celebration of his life sometime this summer in West Palm Beach.
