Our condolences to the Mathews family; he was an honorable attorney and judge and a pleasure to work with in law enforcement. He made a positive impact in the Glades.

I remember the warm welcome from Robert and Shirley when I came to your home for dinner in 1989. In 1990, you welcomed me to the family at Abbey Road. Robert was a very nice man and I appreciate the way he made me feel at home. Robert Matthews was extremely successful, but was always down to earth and knew how to make others feel good. Although I did not know him for a long time, he made a deep impression on me and I am glad that I had the opportunity to meet him.
