Dear Cary and Angie and all who loved Bob:
Sorry that I could not write earlier, but I have not been doing that well.
Bob was so close to Ann, Sean, Kim and me. Twenty years of closeness and fun. We have so many stories that we could share but probably there is not enough space here.
Bob loved so many people. I knew him. He was kind of heart.
He loved humor and he loved some foods.
He loved adventures and he loved watching people interact.
At the School Board, I introduced him to Columbinos restaurant (take out); the place soon became an obsession with us, until one morning, Bob and I were going to Columbinos to get lunch at 10:30AM. I came to his office only to discover that he had gone there at 9;00AM and had eaten an entire sub! I told him that was OK and that we didn't have to go, but we went.. bought subs (I got two so I could catch up) and ate them in our regular style...fast.
Bob used to help us with fireworks on the Fourth. Bob had a problem with lighters so we provided him with a road flare. He was so excited that he turned around to watch his mortar take off and placed the road flare, lit, into my arm. This is why I no longer wear shirts that are not 100% cotton. He loved to do everything with Sean; Estes rockets, fishing, etc.
Bob liked mountain biking, ice skating (hockey), roller blading, kayaking, fly fishing, deep sea fishing, Juno Beach and sunning, favorite foods, and talking with his family and friends.
Anyway, We will all miss our good friend, Bob.
Bob, Ann, Kim, and Sean Skakandy

Cary,
I just heard the news of Bob's passing. I worked with for a number of years on procurement contracts at the City of Palm Beach Gardens. He was a extremely knowledgeable of contract law and a true professional. I considered him a good friend and council. It was my pleasure working with him. He will be missed. God bless him.

CARY,
My sincere apologies for not meeting you yesterday and saying "Good Bye!" to BOB. I didn't know of his passing until the afternoon, thus being too late to attend the services.
I met BOB on his first day working with the Palm Beach County School District as my office was just down the hall. We shared coffee that morning and followed up with many lunches together discussing both legal matters and things in general.
I can't get over his passing, but will always remember him as a friend in my thoughts and prayers. I ask that The LORD's Blessings be with you and his family.

Dear Cary, I met Rob on the bench at Planning and Zoning in Juno Beach while he was writing the wedding invitation list. He became a personal friend and I asked for his help on legal matters. It was so helpful to me, and he offered more than I asked for. He will always be remembered as an ebullient, funny personality with kindness, understanding and love in his heart. I will miss him. It is a huge loss in all of our lives.
We are all blessed to have known him. God bless you.

Dear Cary, family, and all the Rosillo family:
Robert's loss, especially at so young an age, is very sad. Robert was a loving and kind person, and had many other wonderful qualities.
It is clear from readng these tributes that he had touched very many people in his short life, and had many friends and a loving family. He was kind to me and gave me good advice when I needed it many years ago. He will be missed by us all.
Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss, and know that I am thinking of you at this difficult time.

Memories are a small comfort...but, at least, something to ease the pain of loss. We all sure did have some good memories from Fair Haven and RFH. How did such a small and safe community spawn so many interesting and eccentric people?...and, we all seemed to get together those last 2 years for mischief before we took off to the 4 corners of the world! Robert will be well remembered by all who knew him in his youth and beyond. Kindly, Meri Nordstrom

Dear Rosillo Family,
I can picture Robert in his house in Fair Haven with the dog and his electric guitar. He was always concerned about his mother and Angela. In law school Robert was the hardest working guy there was, but he always found time for his friends and family. I haven't seen Robert in 25 years but I picture him vividly and I'm sure his loving nature never ended. Sam Landy Monroe Township New Jersey

Dear Cary & Angela,
I will really miss Robert. My heart goes out to you and the Rosillo family and friends for your loss.
I had the please of sharing a meal with Robert and his wife, Cary at their table during our RFH reunion. We shared a few stories, and laughs and recalled such times as when we met on Sandy Hook Beach, back in 1978 where he was studying amidst the ocean breeze and waves. It was his outdoor classroom.
In my mind, Robert will be remembered as a sincere and gentle friend. He looked you in the eye and showed that he cared about each person.
Carey, I enjoyed meeting you too. May God bless you and the Rosillo family and provide healing ahead.

My sincere sympathy to you Cary and your family. I also worked at the Palm Beach County School District when Bob was there and as a secretary, I only knew him casually, but I had a great respect for him and also enjoyed his sense of humor.

Dear Cary, family and friends of Bob,
I'm so sorry for your loss.
I worked with Bob at the School District for a couple of years. We had stayed in touch over the years by getting together for lunch with some other former school district employees when I came in to town. I loved his stories and enthusiasm. He was a raconteur of the first order, just like his father-in-law.
My favorite image of Bob is when he showed up for work in cargo shorts, a dress shirt and tie. Something about the HVAC unit not working right was his story and he stuck to it.
He will be missed.

Cary - I am so sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. As you know Bob and I enjoyed our days of fly fishing and skeet shooting. Over the past 20 years or so he never changed, always good natured and funny as heck... Bob also took being outspoken to new levels, always in a good way and that as well as other attributes made him such a great attorney. Cary - I am sorry we have never met. I worked with your father and as a former General Counsel, I hired Bob as an attorney with the School Board back in the 1980s. I remember that time fondly and was happy to stay in touch with Bob all of these years. I spoke with him last fall and was hoping that both of you would visit the D.C. area soon. I am grateful that a friend let me know that Bob is now departed. He truly was special and always full of laughter when I spoke with him. I will miss him. May Robert be smelling the sweet smell of gardenias with his beloved Mom (her favorite flower). So many people loved Robert. He will be surely missed. He had a kind and giving soul. Robert had a servant's heart. He was always willing to help those that needed him. He was so giving of his precious time. We could have only hoped for MORE time with Robert. Our hearts are heavy...but we are comforted knowing Robert is now at peace. We know his love for his family and friends lives on forever. Robert will always be in our hearts.

Dear Cary,
I never had the pleasure of making your acquaintance but I did have the distinct pleasure of working with Bob for the past 2 years. He was a brilliant attorney without being arrogant and a truly wonderful human being. He tenaciously represented the City but never failed to maintain his civility. His professionalism, unique view of legal issues and crisp witticisms will be sorely missed. I am a better person and a better attorney for having known and worked with Bob. I will miss him very much. May the Lord keep and comfort you in this difficult time.

Bob and I worked at School Board back during the years of the bond issue and shared a lot of memories of those years. Since then, we only got to see each other at our annual lunch with others from that time - Len Alvey, Bill Grimmer, Don Tarylor, Bob and myself. Usually at Carmines. Got to see us all gain more gray hair as the years go by. Bob always had the best stories to tell. Will definitely miss you Bob. You were one of a kind! Donnie Drake
