Sandra GOULD Obituary

GOULD, Sandra L.

Age 64. Heaven's gate received a most Beloved Angel on November 25, 2014. Sandy passed away peacefully near her home-town of Tomahawk, WI. Surrounded by her devoted and loving family. Sandy

valiantly fought with grace Multiple System Atrophy, a progressive debilitating disease. If you were privileged enough to be a family member or friend of Sandy's, you were blessed beyond measure. She deeply loved her family, friends and her two cats, Nevada and Dakota. She was adored by many many friends who will always remember her for her kindness, selflessness, and perky sense of humor. Sandy enjoyed playing golf and tennis, was an excellent hostess, and decorator who made a house into a home that looked like it came from the pages of Home and Garden magazine. Sandy was also a very savvy business woman and former co-owner of Sun Title in Wellington.

Sandy is survived by her daughter, Richelle Deist, son-in-law, Jeff

Deist, two grandsons, Dominick (11), and Brock (8), who affectionately called her GG. Also, survived by her husband, Gary Gould, sister, Rose Marie Peterson and brother, Gregg Myre, and many nieces and nephews who adored her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Delores Myre, Jr., and her young nephew, Kevin Peterson. Sandy will be terribly missed by all, but never far from our hearts or our memories. A heart-felt thanks from Sandy's family goes out to Drs. Pao and

Spatola, Hospice of Palm Beach County and their amazing Sunflower Team as well as the care-takers and social

workers who went far beyond their responsibilities to care for Sandy. A life celebration in her honor will be held in Stuart today

(January 18th) which is her birthday. Friends and family Will go out on a boat and scatter her ashes over the Intracoastal Waterway followed by each friend tossing a beautiful rose overboard in her memory. After that, the celebration begins "Sandy Style" with good food, laughter, and lots of wine!!

I miss you

What an amazing woman, mother, wife, sister, friend Sandy was! We have lost a twinkling star , a woman who lit up the life of each and every person she came in contact with ! She made me a better person., by encouraging (sometimes very forcefully -lol) me to do more than I thought I was capable of! She was laughter and light to all she came in contact with and I miss her every day! I am so very sorry that we have all lost someone so special so soon!

Sandy Gould was the best friend anyone could ever hope for. She was my best Cheer Leader,my confidant, my friend. She probably knew more about me than anyone on this earth including family members and other friends of mine. She was always there to listen and give her honest opinion when asked. Even after having been diagnosed with the dreaded disease that eventually took her life, she still insisted on frosting my hair for me. I remember that she got so tired that she was leaning on me. I felt so guilty and yet so loved. Sandy was our group social director and organizer. She was our go-to person for everyone's telephone numbers and addresses. She had a memory like an Elephant and always seemed to recall the smallest details of most of our life events over the past 3 decades. She had the most wonderful sense of humor which stayed with her until the very end of her life.
She was a natural born decorator, an avid golfer who could out-golf most men I know,
loved to play tennis and the slot machines. She was always up for what-ever events her friends were interested in. Sandy deeply loved her daughter Richelle, her grandsons, her husband, her sister, brother, nieces and nephews, her friends and her 2 cats. She was the most selfless person I have ever known.
I miss her, but I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that she is in the loving arms of Jesus and with her family members who had gone on before her. She will live on in our hearts and our memories forever until we meet again in Heaven some glorious day.
