SUSAN MILLER LEHRMAN Susan Miller Lehrman of West Palm Beach, FL formerly of Palm Beach, FL died September 21,2011 in Healdsburg, CA. She was 71. Ms. Lehrman was born August 21, 1940 in Denver, CO. The daughter of Joe and Rose Miller, a cattle rancher in Wyoming. Susan was raised in Denver where she participated in 4H. In 1959 she married Gilbert Lehrman and moved to Harrisburg, PA where she raised her family. The Lehrman family brought Rite Aid Drugstores to the market. They settled in Palm Beach in 1976, became active in Charities and Civic organizations. She was involved in the Adam Walsh Foundation and the American Cancer Society's 19th Hole. Susan belonged to the Mar-a-Largo Club, Club Colette, the Palm Beach Yacht club, the Governor's Club, Doubles of New York City, the Palm Beach Rotary and was and officer of the Chaine des Rotisseurs. After her divorce from Gilbert she founded Royal Palm Travel, which she ran until retirement. She is survived by son Louis Lehrman, wife Marcia, grand-sons Ryan and Quinn of Washington, DC. Son H. Edward Lehrman, wife Carol, grand-daughter Rose and grand-son Henry of Larkspur, CA. Her Brother Mark Miller, wife Pat and Sister Lieba Albert of Denver, CO, and Louis G. Wechsler, her partner in life. Contributions may be made in Ms. Lehrman's name to UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Miller School of Medicine, 1475 N.W. 12th Avenue, Miami, FL 33136, or the charity of your choice. Funeral service will be held at Temple Emanu-EL, 190 North County Road, Palm Beach, on October 2 at 10:30 AM. Internment to follow at Star of David Cemetery, 9321 Memorial Park Road, West Palm Beach. Immediately following friends will be received at the Lehrman- Wechsler residence, Trump Plaza 529 South Flagler Drive, Apt 7 E//F, West Palm Beach.
