Dear Mandi & Family -
My heart sank when I heard the news of your lovely mom. She was very, very special to so many people - including my family. I just know she and my mom (Ann Thompson) are in heaven at this time, organizing something (as they did for the PTA at Flamingo Elementary)- or enjoying a lovely lunch!
Please know our thought and prayers are with you and your entire family.
Love,
The Thompson Family

I was saddned by the news of Miss Vernells death but I also know that Our Father was waiting to receive her into His home. She made me feel special about myself when I didn't feel there was anything there to be noticed. That was her gift and I will always treasure it .

Steve, all we can say is we are so sorry. Eugene and I have loved both of you for so long. Even after leaving Walterboro for Tennessee you were both always in our hearts and prayers. We will always remember Vernelle as such a wonderful loving woman who just lit up a room whenever she walked through the door. She was definitely a blessing to know and my life has been blessed and is so much the better just to have been able to call her my friend. Our prayers are with you and your family, Steve, and with James and Charles.
