Farewell, Mr. Bannon. I knew you as a substitute teacher at Lake Worth Jr. High in 1980-81, and then often saw you at Municipal Stadium during Spring Training for Expos and Braves games. Haven't seen you in about 35 years, but l always knew what you were up to, since my brother Bruce stayed in touch with you through the years. I hope you're enjoying an ice cold Miller Lite with Billy Martin and George Steinbrenner. Rest in Peace, my friend, and prayers of strength for the family you left behind.
