Anita Hueber Obituary

ANITA DEE HUEBER Heaven received the sweetest, most beautiful angel that God put on earth on September 1, 2025. Anita Dee (Pedersen) Hueber passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family. She left a heritage of loving her family and her God. Anita was born June 12, 1933, in Indianapolis, Indiana. As she got older, she worked as a model. She married Howard Arnett Hueber, the love of her life, on November 15, 1952. They moved to Mineral Wells due to Howard getting stationed at Ft. Wolters. They later ran the North Oak Dairy Queen until 1978. She later worked at Mitchell's Department Store and the school system. Anita and Howard had a precious daughter, Tammie Hueber Maston, whom they loved and adored with all their heart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Emil and Marion Lou Pederson; sisters, Joyce E. Nicholson and Judith Ann Taylor; and a brother, Peder C. Pederson. Survivors include her husband, Howard A. Hueber; her daughter, Tammie Maston and husband Terry; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 5, 2025, at the First Baptist Church at 100 SW 4th Ave, Mineral Wells, TX 76067.

Growing up in Mineral Wells I got to go to the N Oak Dairy Queen practically every day. Howard and Anita were always so nice. Anita would always greet me at the window to take my order with a smile. She was such a treasure. RIP my friend.
