WILLIAM RALPH

WILLIAM RALPH 07/11/1945 - 08/08/2025 William John Ralph, known affectionately as "Bill," passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on July 11, 1945, in Alameda, California, Bill lived a life marked by service, devotion, and deep love for his family and community. Bill proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the 282nd Assault Helicopter Company, known as the "Black Cats." His courage and commitment during his military service remained a point of pride throughout his life. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a dedicated member of American Legion Post 75, where he found camaraderie and continued his service to fellow veterans. After his military service, Bill worked in construction and maintenance culminating in his role as Director of maintenance at Mineral ISD. His leadership and commitment to the district left a lasting impact. On September 25, 1986, Bill married his sweetheart Pat. Their nearly four decades together were filled with unwavering support, laughter, and shared adventures. Bill was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Pat. Children: daughter Tammy Guilbault and her husband Robert, son William Ralph and his wife Elizabeth, daughter Christy Elliott and her husband Jason, his son Dustin Ralph and his wife Erin. Grandchildren: Nathan Guilbault and his wife Holly, Stephanie Guilbault, Trey Guilbault, Jayme Elliott, Klayton Elliott, Cassidy Ralph, Will Ralph, Raven Ralph, Emma Ralph, Addison Ralph, Cooper Ralph and Hollis Ralph. Great grandchildren: Everly Guilbault, Ayla Guilbault and Alden Guilbault, Sylus Garcia and Madex Garcia He is also survived by his brother Charles and wife Terri, his sister Sue. Nieces and Nephews: Austin Ralph and wife Laci, Charlene Green and husband James, Robin Ralph and husband Gavin, Grace Glaittli and husband Sherrard, and Rachel Glaittli and lots of great nieces and nephews. His family was the center of his world, and he took immense pride in their accomplishments and cherished every moment spent together. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Gary Durbin, Gene Long, Charlie and Debbie O'Shields, Dr Ty Gore, Dr Mott, Dr Mughal, Dr Doan and Medical City FW ICU for their unwavering support and friendship during this time. Bill's legacy of service, love, and dedication will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, October 18, 2025 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Chapel.
