Robert Sanchez, 51 passed away at home in his sleep on Thrusday, March 29, 2018, in Blythe, CA. He was born April 19, 1966, to Manuel & Senorina Sanchez. The eldest of six children. He worked at the Employment Development Department up until last year when he retired. He is preceded in death by his father Manuel I. Sanchez; his Grandparents, and Uncles.

He is survived by his Mother Senorina Sanchez, Sisters: Isabel (Robert) Verduzco, Susana (Heriberto) Cavazos; Natalia Sanchez, Lourdes (Earl II) Sonner, Candelaria Sanchez (Wesley VanHook); his children Sofia, Teresa, Victor (his wife Alex), his nephews: Andre Verduzco, Amaris Verduzco, Ashley (Jared) Kuamoo, Heriberto (Christina) Cavazos, Jacob Cavazos, Donovan Reno, Diego Reno, Wesley Van Hook II, Christian VanHook, Mitchell VanHook, Earl Sonner III, Nicolas Sonner, Great-Niece Isiana (Serena) Urias, Uncles, Aunts, God-children, and numerous loving cousins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, 6-7 viewing; 7-8 Rosary at the Blythe Frye Chapel and Mortuary. The funeral Services will be Thursday, April 5, 2018, at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Mass at 10:00, with the Service continuing on at the Palo Verde Valley Cemetery at 11:00. The Funeral gathering will be at 12:00 held at the Blythe Iglesia Adventista del Septimo Dia, 415 E. Barnard, Blythe, CA 92225,

I am still in shock Life is not always fair.
Robert always lived and worked by the book. He was always trying to be fair and equal with everybody, even when he was not able to please all. We both worked side by side as two rookies, brand new managers in Indio/Blythe. I learned a lot about these two beautiful communities from him. He was proud of his heritage and he was a tough fighter for the farm workers. I am lucky to have had the opportunity to work with him.
