EL PASO- Bobbie J. Talbert, 69, of El Paso, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at 12:41 AM on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at home.

Her memorial service will be at 4 PM on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home in El Paso with Rev. Ed Sinclair officiating. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to service from 2-4 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to St. Paul United Church of Christ in Minonk, or to OSF Hospice. Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home in El Paso is in charge of arrangements.

Bobbie was born in Vandalia on September 10, 1951, a daughter to Auburn and Marjorie (Aldrich) Talbert.

Surviving are her sisters: Nancy Neisler, El Paso, Linda (Andrew) Schopp, Washington, Penny Stephens, El Paso; nieces and nephews: Tabatha (Steven) Reimer; Neil (Heather) Schopp; Shalin Stroud; Khara (Josh) Celia; Tricia (Mark) Hozie; Tim Neisler; Jodi (Jon) Burmeister; Leia Stephens; Carlie (Lucas) Roach; and 18 great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a nephew, Marshall Kevin Neisler.

Bobbie was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Minonk. She was a carpenter and retired from Union Local #63 after 30 years of service. She also worked part time for the City of El Paso for several years.

The family would like to thank Carol Short and Cheryl Gieselman for all their time they helped us during the past five months. She will be greatly missed by her family and all that knew her.

Very sorry to hear of Bobbie's passing. I worked with on a few different jobs, she was fun to be around. I would see her her around after retirement a few times, and we would stop and catch up with the latest news. She was funny and fun to be around. She will be missed greatly.
