February 13, 1964 - November 15, 2024

Carolyn Ann Emberton, 60, of Lexington, Illinois, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center.

Born on February 13th, 1964 in Clinton, Illinois, Carolyn Ann Emberton was the daughter of Clarence J. and Shirley Shannon Emberton. Throughout her life, Carolyn dedicated herself to her job as a housekeeper, she built lasting relationships with close friends, and cherished all of her pets along the way.

Carolyn Ann Emberton is preceded in death by her parents (2006); her brother, Elvyn "J.R." Emberton (2020) and sister, Janet Gregory (2021). She is survived by her spouse Randy Wooldridge and two daughters Rylee Wooldridge and Shelby (Emberton) Hamm. She is also survived by six siblings: Brenda James, Toney Emberton, Beverly Adams, Chris Emberton, Mike Emberton, and Doug Emberton and one beloved grandchild, Hudson Hamm the son of Shelby Hamm.

Carolyn would tell you that her proudest accomplishment was her daughters and most recently becoming a grandma to Hudson.

A celebration of life will be held on a later date to be determined.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the healthcare providers and Pastors who supported Carolyn in her last days.

Carolyn will be remembered fondly by all who knew her for her kindness, generosity, sense of humor, and resilience.
