Dan had a very successful career in Auto Sales and Management for 45 years. Recently retiring. Dan was looking forward to spending time with friends and family. Cancer overtook his plans. He loved playing with his grandchildren, a game of kickball, basketball, racing slot cars, or playing trains. He spent 15 years or more sharing his deep love of music by DJ'ing weddings and school events as W.A.D.E. with good friend, Nate. He loved people, life, and being outdoors. Being a car guy, he enjoyed cars of all kinds from Indy Car, NASCAR, collecting model cars, or building models to finally owning his own Pontiac Solstice to drive.

Having a vacation cabin in North Carolina, Dan found a favorite spot, Thunder Hill on the Blue Ridge Parkway to sit and reflect. He developed a love for hiking and biking. He also enjoyed helping a good friend, Jeff; teaching him about home brewing and making Baxter Brown, named after his beagle. He treated everyone who came through the door like family.
