David M. Stauffer

February 9, 1950 - September 26, 2025

David M. Stauffer, age 75, of Bloomington, IL passed away September 26, 2025 at Sugar Creek, Normal IL.

Visitation will be 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM Friday, October 3, 2025, at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. His funeral service will follow the visitation. Burial will be at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington, IL.

David was born February 9, 1950 in Bloomington, IL the son of John K. and Alice R. Dohrs Stauffer. He married Diana Goelzer Tarter on June 23, 2012 in Bloomington, IL. She survives.

Also surviving, stepson, Bryan (Kelly) Chesnut; brothers: Paul (Marcia) Stauffer, Daniel Stauffer; and his mother-in-law, Margie Goelzer-Bane, all of Bloomington, IL.

David is preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Stauffer; and sister, Alice Martin.
