Donald Iven Tudor, 91, of San Tan Valley, Arizona, passed away on September 17, 2025, in Queen Creek, Arizona.
Don's visitation will be held on October 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM with a service following at 1:00 PM at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, Illinois. Following the service, burial will take place at Park Hill Cemetery.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers that memorials may be made to Signs of Sunshine a 5o1c3 in honor of his wife, G. LaDon Tudor. Venmo: @signsofsunshine and by visiting the website signsofsunshine.org.
Don was born on August 29, 1934, in Bloomington, the son of John I. and Edna M. (Gesell) Tudor. He married G. LaDon Wright on April 16, 1955. She preceded him in 2009.
Don is survived by his children: Karla Zugg, San Tan Valley, AZ and Peggy (Matthew) Nielsen, Queen Creek, AZ. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Jenny (Matt) Baugh, Clint (Kelsey) Nichols, Dean (Lucy) Tudor, Ashley (Jake) Giacoma, Andrew Nielsen and Karli Nielsen along with great grandchildren: Ryan, Evan, Nathan, Maddie, Emily, Mackenzie, Michael, Jordan, Jackson and one on the way. He was preceded by his parents, a son, Wallace Tudor and three sisters.
He worked for the GM&O, ICG and Metra railroads retiring in 1996. He loved fishing, hunting, golf and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Don will be deeply missed by all his family and friends who knew and loved him.
