Rev. Harold V. H. Punke
LEXINGTON - Rev. Harold V. H. Punke (known as Herman), 74, of Lexington, and formerly of Hudson, IL, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023, at OSF Medical Center in Bloomington.
Harold was a loving father and husband, and the best papaw ever. He pastored for 55 years at the Move of God Fellowship in Hudson, IL, and was also a welder for 55 years. He loved to tell jokes and tease those he loved most. He will be dearly missed.
Surviving are his loving wife of 57 years, Oleda F. Punke ; daughters: Leona (Donald) Oliver of Lawrenceburg, KY, Nancy Punke of Towanda, IL; son, Ben (Tammy) Punke of Deercreek, IL; ten grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in passing by his parents, Clarence and Grace Punke; four brothers; and four sisters.
Cremation rites have been entrusted with East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington.

It was sad to hear of Brother Herman's passing, and he will truly be missed by those that knew him. He taught me a great deal from the word of God.
