Ivan G. Anderson

December 9, 1933 - October 22, 2025

Ivan G. Anderson, 91, of Bloomington, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 5:13 p.m. at home.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, 106 N. Main St., Farmer City, Illinois. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. immediately following the visitation with Pastor Dave Ashby officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Farmer City, Illinois.

Ivan was born on December 9, 1933, in Empire Township, McLean County, Illinois, a son of Clarence and Donna Healea Anderson. He married Doris I. Bosserman on April 20, 1955, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She passed away December 18, 2017.

Ivan is survived by his children, Janet (John) Albee of Punta Gorda, Florida, Ivan G. "Jerry" Anderson II of Bloomington, Illinois; 2 grandsons, Caleb Swier of Normal, Illinois, and Jacob Swier of Bloomington, Illinois; siblings, John Anderson of Monticello, Illinois, Wanda (Rodney) Anderson of Bloomington, Illinois, Verne (Kyoko) Anderson of Campbell, California.

He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

Ivan served in the United States Air Force. He worked over 40 years for Electrolux Home Products Inc. before retiring.
