Lillian Wepprecht Obituary
Born on April 12, 1937, in Ewing, IL, she was the daughter of Lyman and Lillian Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Clara Nell Allen, Shirley Mathis, Rick Allen, and Linda Muntz.
On December 30, 1953, Lillian married Ronald Wepprecht. They shared nearly 72 years of marriage. Ronald survives her.
Elaine's life was richly blessed through her children: Lisa (the late Mickey) Schmidgall, Brenda (Mark) Yoder, Mark (Terry) Wepprecht, and Diane Wepprecht. She was a loving grandmother to eight grandchildren-Justin (Jill) Schmidgall, Matthew (Steven) Yoder, Brandon (Jessica) Schmidgall, Tara (Clint) Kruger, Brooke Yoder, Brian Wepprecht, Blake Wepprecht, and Brittney (Jake) Schmidgall-and was further blessed with 19 great-grandchildren.
A woman of faith, Elaine's life reflected devotion to her family and to God. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to caregivers Deanne ("Boss"), Amy, Mel and Dawn (hospice) for their compassionate care.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mackinaw United Methodist Church, 107 N Orchard St., Mackinaw, IL 61755.
