Linda Kay Springer
July 27, 1942 - Dec. 11, 2023
DEKAVAN - Linda Kay Springer, 81, of Delavan, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023, at Hallmark House Nursing Center in Pekin.
She was born July 27, 1942, in Lincoln to Howard and Opal Barbee Steiger. She married Arlis Springer on December 27, 1964, in Hopedale, and he survives.
Also surviving are one sister, Ruth Roger of Elizabeth, NC; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers: Ralph and Henry Alan.
Linda taught business classes at Tremont High School for 30 years. She was a member of Living Hope Community Church in Hopedale. Music was a big part of Linda's life and she enjoyed playing the piano and organ at her church. Her specialty was making greeting cards, loved watching the Golden State Warriors, and following the career of Hersey Hawkins.
Her funeral will be at 10:00 a.m Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Living Hope Community Church in Hopedale. Pastor Roger Springer will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. Monday and one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in Prairie Rest Cemetery in Delavan.
Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Tremont is handling the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Living Hope Community Church or TAPS.

I remember taking several of Mrs. Springer 's classes at THS. She ran a very tight class.
