EL PASO - Louise "Linda" Pfab, of El Paso, formerly of Bernard, IA, passed away at her residence on Monday, December 11, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was born December 26, 1936, in La Motte, IA, a daughter of Arnold P. and Veronica C. (Wieseler) Kremer. She married James J. Pfab on September 26, 1959, at Holy Family Catholic Church, New Melleray, Peosta, IA.
Survivors include her husband, James, of El Paso; a daughter, Patricia A. (Clif) Carter, Bloomington; two sons: Terrance J. (Michele) Pfab, Flower Mound, TX, and Tracey J. (Laverne) Pfab, McKinney, TX; three grandchildren: Kevin J. Pfab, Ethan J. Pfab, and Kristopher B. (Abby) Carter; also surviving are four brothers: Norman (Judy) Kremer, Cascade, IA, Leonard Kremer, Dubuque, IA, Roger (Juanita) Kremer, Dubuque, IA, and Willard (Barbara) Kremer, Bernard, IA; two sisters: Joyce A. (Gene) Lochner, Dubuque, IA, and Doris A. (Alan) Kramer, Epworth, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Arnold Jr, Earl, and Julian Kremer; four sisters: Darlene Reuter, Judith Langel, Grace Kremer, and Mary Catherine Kremer; and a granddaughter, Kayla Pfab.
Linda was co-owner and secretary treasurer of Linco Equipment in El Paso for 39 years. Prior to that, she farmed alongside her husband and drove a school bus in Bernard, IA.
She was an avid bowler and had served as a notary since 1974.
Linda was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in El Paso where her funeral mass was at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Father Robert Rayson officiated. Visitation was on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ruestman Harris funeral Home, El Paso. Burial was at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, El Paso.
Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.
