Marsha Jean Holz

March 25, 1954 - June 25, 2025

TOLUCA - Marsha Jean Holz, 71, of Toluca, Ill., passed away on June 25, 2025, at Richard Owens Hospice House in Peoria, Ill.

Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m., on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home in Toluca with Pastor Chris Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at St. Johns Cemetery, Toluca.

Memorials may be given to Eastern Marshall County EMS or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home in Toluca is in charge of arrangements.

Marsha was born in Mason City, Iowa on March 25, 1954, a daughter to Marshall Clive and Helen Jean (Taborn) Scheuble. She married Glenn Joseph Holz in Peoria on April 27, 1974. He survives.

Also surviving are her brother, Brian Scheuble, San Diego, Calif.; and nephew, Charlie Scheuble.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Marsha graduated from Peoria High School and completed two years at Illinois Central College. She was a member of Benson Baptist Church in Benson, Ill. She worked for P.A. Bergners, S&S Hardware, the Clive Sandwich Shop, and worked in the cafeteria at Caterpillar in East Peoria, Ill., which is where her and Glenn met and they later married. She volunteered at WTVP where she received four awards, and she volunteered at the former Peoria State Hospital. She and Glenn were also part of the Walk to Emnaus group where Marsha completed five walks.
