Mildred M. McKinley, 95, of Flanagan, IL passed away at 8:33 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Evenglow Inn, Pontiac, IL.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, Flanagan with Pastor Ben Blobaum officiating. A burial will follow at Center Cemetery, Flanagan. The visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Memorial Home. Memorials may be made to the Flanagan Graymont Fire District or to St. John's Lutheran Church, Flanagan.

Millie was born September 9, 1929, in Streator, IL the daughter of Herman and Anna Gastman Eckhoff. She married T. Gene McKinley on March 25, 1951, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Flanagan. He died April 4, 2014.

Surviving are two children Gregory (Shela) McKinley of Flanagan and Diane (Rod) Litwiller of Tremont; five grandchildren Kyla (Mike) Musser, Brett (Kym) McKinley, Brandy (Alan) Cooksey, Zakariah and Ezekiel Litwiller; six great grandchildren; one sister-in-law Eileen Eckhoff, and one brother-in-law Edwin McKinley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Alvin Eckhoff, and one sister-in-law, Lynn McKinley.

Millie was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Flanagan where she was active in various committees such as kitchen, funeral, flowers, and women's circle. She worked as a clerical secretary at Livingston Service Company for several years before marrying Gene and becoming a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
