Vicky Hogan Obituary

Vicky (Denny) Hogan, 68, of Minier, Ill., passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025. She was born on April 11, 1957 to Gene and Donna Day Denny.
Vicky worked in property management and real estate alongside her husband, Jim Hogan, contributing to the success of his company, Indian Creek Builders. After Jim's passing, she became a dedicated advocate for people with disabilities at LIFE Center for Independent Living (LIFE CIL), retiring in June 2024.
Her biggest joy in life was her family and she will be lovingly remembered by her father, Gene; brother, Mike (Laurie) Denny; sister, Laura Denny; her daughters, Brianne (Andy) Anderson and Christine (Garrett Sparrow) Hogan; her grandchildren, Christian (Katie) Anderson, Sydney (Brennan Compton) Anderson, and Brooklynn Anderson; and her great-grandchildren, Gracelynn Compton, Paisley Anderson, and Laken Compton. She also leaves behind her significant other, Kenny Crismon, and many extended family members who adored her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, and her mother, Donna.
In her final months, Vicky fought declining health with remarkable strength, supported by her daughters and Kenny. Her family is grateful to the medical professionals who cared for her with compassion.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to LIFE CIL, 2201 Eastland Drive, Suite 1, Bloomington, IL 61704. Vicky will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Vicky was a woman I admired and loved. I had the privilege to meet this great Lady while working at LIFECIL. She was so dedicated and cared so much about the people she was helping as well as her coworkers. She was a Mama and grandmother who fiercely loved her family and would have done whatever it took to be there for them. I was so sorry to hear about her battle with cancer and the loss of such a great woman. I stand in faith that she is walking streets of gold and that she is no longer suffering and I also believe her spirit and heart will go on forever.
