MOUNT ZION - Wendy F. Kuster, 54, of Mt. Zion, IL, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday at Calvert & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion with a vigil prayer service beginning at 4:30 p.m. Wendy will be laid to rest in Mt. Zion Township Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Cancer Care or American Cancer Society.
Wendy was born on April 17, 1970 in Bloomington, IL, the daughter of Herbert M. Mann and Joyce E. (Fulks) Thrasher. Wendy married Mike Kerry Kuster on April 24, 2004. She worked as a banker at Hickory Point Bank for the last 14 years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Wendy was an avid reader and enjoyed going to the library, bike nights and Chicago Cubs games. Her greatest love was for her family and her friends.
Wendy is survived by her husband, Mike Kerry Kuster of Mt. Zion, IL; daughters: Jessica Kuster of Clarksville, IN, Emily (Kyle) Nash of Memphis, IN, and Addison Kuster of Mt. Zion, IL; grandchildren: Clayton Michael Graham, Kerry Ann Nash and Calvin Patton Kuster; sister, Cindy Mann of Bloomington, IL; step-sister, Abby Jo Slavens of Bloomington, IL; step-brother, Jeff (Sandy) Slavens of Chenoa, IL; uncle, C.L. Mann of Hickory, MS; aunt, Marilyn Mann of Philadelphia, MS; cousins: Brian (Celeste) Hall, Barbie Hall, Clyde (Kristy) Mann, Christian Mann and Adam Mann. She was preceded in death by her parents.
