December 28, 1944 - December 13, 2025
William M. Nobiling, 80, of Normal, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at his home.
His funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 2, 2026 at East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington, where visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow services at Holy Cross Cemetery, Normal.

He was born December 28, 1944 in Normal, son of William Reed and Mary Almeda McMurray Nobiling. He married Connie R. Rediger in June of 1968.
Surviving are his wife, Connie, of Normal; three sons, William (Margie) Nobiling, of Pekin, Edward (Nadine) Nobiling, of Antioch and Juston (Marisol), of San Jose, Calif. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Nicole, Kayla (Shane), Jacob (Dany), Makenzie, Tyler, Noah (Amanie), Devin (Grace), Caleb, Chase and Julian and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Bill retired in 2004 after working for over 20 years as a Normal Police Department Patrol Officer.
Bill was passionate about weightlifting and nutrition. He enjoyed watching collegiate and pro sports and catching a good John Wayne or Clint Eastwood flick. Bill loved Jesus and his family, especially his grandchildren.
