William Noble Obituary

William Robert Noble, 74, of Heyworth, Illinois, passed away peacefully on October 16,2025. Born on March 21, 1951, in Urbana, Illinois, he was the son of the late William Andrew Noble and Lola Alma (Jeffries) Noble. A quiet and humble man, Bill was known for his kindness, generosity, creativity, intellect, attention to detail, and sense of humor.

Bill began his professional life as a tradesman in commercial plumbing, where he worked for more than 20 years. In 1994 he earned an Associate degree in Information Technology at Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois. From there he went on to work at State Farm as a Systems Analyst until he retired in 2018.

Bill enjoyed woodworking, bead making, stained glass work, and numerous other forms of craftmanship; reading and learning new things; traveling; and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Marie; daughter Kate (Lee) Salisbury; grandsons Nolan and William Salisbury; sisters-in-law Linda and Robin Parent; cousin-by-marriage Vicki Bond; nephews Sean (Audra) Behm and Thomas Hardesty; great nieces Brandi Drollinger and Lauren Behm; great nephews Clayton and Teegan Tinsman.
