Arleen McClanahan Obituary

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at 2pm at the Paradise Community Church of Nazarene, Paradise, CA to celebrate the life of Arleen McClanahan. Arleen was born January 22, 1936 in Monterey Park. CA and passed away April 4, 2006 in Paradise, CA. She spent most of her adult life in Gridley, CA before moving to Paradise in 1991. Arleen is survived by a daughter and son in-law, Bob & Kathy McClanahan-Miles of Sheridan, Mt, two sons Michael of Lewis & Clark County, MT and Herbert ""Jack"" of Magalia, a grandson, Calvin and one great granddaughter Tori. Arleen was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Cordelia Wilson, her husband Herbert, her brother John and her son Patrick. Arleen worked with her husband in the accounting industry before retiring to pursue her degree in the travel and tourism industry. She was a member of Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies, Therapy Dogs, Inc., Farm Bureau, Chico Dog Fanciers, PAWS and the Paradise Nazarene Church. Arleen loved and adored her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, dog agility, hiking and the time she spent in Montana. Memorial Contributions may be make to Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies in Care of Newton-Bracewell Cremation & Funeral Service of Magalia who handled the arrangements.
