Nick Pompermayer Obituary
He and Betty lived in Paradise, CA for 24 years. They raised Llamas at their home known as Lullaby Llamas. Nick was born in Salida, Colorado and began working full time while attending school at the age of 12. With no father in the home, he helped take care of his mother and two younger brothers. He graduated top of his class and throughout his life, he became one of the most well read and knowledgeable people one could meet.
He married Betty in Rocky Ford, CO and they worked as partners and lovers in Colorado, Missouri, the Bay Area, and finally came to rest in Paradise.
Those who know Nick will remember his honesty, his wonderful sense of humor, his kindness, and his devotion to the Catholic Church.
His deep love for Betty is something that is truly rare and has remained an inspiration to all who know him. Nick Pompermayer will be remembered as a true man in the eyes of his family and his God.
Services will be held on Saturday March 2, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Thomas Moore Church 767 Elliott Road in Paradise CA

Dearest Nick, I know you are now peaceful and resting with Betty. I am certain that God has a special place set aside for the both of you. You were loved here on earth by so many people, friends, family and your critters. I will think of you often.
Give my mom and dad a big hug for me!
