Todd,
It has been 2 years today and not a day goes by that I do not have you in my thoughts. I miss you so very much and I continue to love you with all my heart! I am so happy our last words when I spoke to you on the phone that night were I LOVE YOU! I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. A part of you is with me everyday and everywhere I go.

It had been so long since I saw you, talked to you once on the phone years ago when you called to check in. There were so many times I thought of you and hope all was well. Now you and Chris can keep watch on everyone together and get in all kinds of mischief like you did when you were little. Grandma and Grandpa need to keep you in line. You are in my heart.

Big Brother-
I think of you every day. Usually when I'm driving to or from work... and of course each night before I start to dream.

Today I thought of all the news I'd share with you: I just got back from a two-week stay in New York! I imagined what you would think about your little sister in that big city... well, it was intimidating at times, but I know you were there keeping tabs on me and now I'm home and safe.
I know if you were here you'd ask how my relationship is going... you asked that whenever we were together. I'm sure it was because of how I reached out to you that last time you were out... like a little sister should with her big brother. Well, you'd be happy to know that relationship is over. I wish you were here to tell me your relationship stories. I always loved learning about what you did growing up... where you lived, who you hung out with, who you dated, how people treated you.

I wish I knew if you were happy. I hope you are... I imagine you are. I imagine you're more at peace than you would be if you were here.

I love you, Todd. I can vividly feel our last hug. We were on the dock you just built... you were so proud... and you should've been! We talked about holiday plans.
... you didn't make it to the holiday season.

I miss you, Todd. I miss the relationship we could've had. I miss the relationship I felt like we had started to build.

As I ask you every night, please talk to me. I won't be scared. You're my big brother and I just want to KNOW that you are there.

I love you, big brother.

Dearest Carla; I did not have the opportunity to know your loved one in person but the memories you share about him in our conversations he is truely brought to light in how you keep his memory alive. Over the last several months just talking and sharing about Todd your eyes just light up and his love and yours is expressed in each memory you have shared with me. Especially when talking about the pets and how he loved them so. God Bless and Respects your friend: Deborah

September 6, 2010

Todd-"Daddy"
Obedia- Your little son, at least we know for sure that he is a boy, Sherbert still is a toss up, but I tend to agree with you that Sherbert too is a boy! Obey continues to be the little talker, he now will call for Murray, and he continues to look after Nar Nar,after all she is his little women! I forgot to tell you that Nar Nar a few weeks back laid 3 eggs, but she did not sit on them. Obey misses his freedom to roam the house, and fly over to you to give you kisses and say "I Love You". I can remember the day that Obey was once a "Mommy's Boy", but not long after you came to live with us he did a 360 and became a "Daddys Boy". I am sure you can recall his little acts of kindness, after giving you a bunch of kisses he would come to me and act as if he was going to give me a kiss, and then would bite my lip and then say "I Love You" He was loyal to you. He still won't let anyone near Nar Nar so you don't need to worry about her. (He is being quite the little man). Out of all the birds Obedia I think is the strongest dealing with your death! I think it may be a man thing! I know he misses you a lot though, he just handles it better than the rest of us!

"I send my kisses to you up in the clouds!"

Todd-"Daddy"
Sherbert-"The one who stood out above the rest" Todd I am sure you can imagine the complete loss Sherbert has felt this past year. The two of you had a wonderful bond between you. He is the one most like a child, and believe me he now is showing his unhappiness in regards to you leaving us. At first he lost a few feathers, but what has taken over is his screams. A very high pitch scream that continues through out the day! It is as if he is crying for you! He misses his playtime with you! Going to the river, the park, rock creek, among all the other outings you included him in. He now say's "Hi Sherbert" Sometimes the look on his face reminds me of an unhappy child wanting to cause nothing but mischief, all for attention! I am getting better at spending more time with him now, it was so much easier when there were two of us working together like a family. I can remember going to the park and you would let him down to walk on his own saying "come on son, follow Daddy" You even loved to take him to the bar, that was until he no longer was allowed in! Not old enough I guess! Ha Ha
I know he will always remember you and miss you so very much.

Glady's - Our Bearded Dragon

September 6, 2010

Todd-"Daddy"
Glady's truely proved to be your girl. I can remember you saying that she would always look at you through the aquarium, and watch you! Well it is my hope that she is now with you! Until you left us I never spent much time really thinking about death and what happens when you die. It is the "unknown" that bothers me so much. It is my hope that we can be reunited somehow with those that we love and shared our lives with. Shortly after you were gone she lost her desire to eat, she no longer gobbled up the crickets us fast as you put them in the tank. I can remember all the special attention you gave her, you even brought her to bed with us, as you did all the animals.

Glady's truely missed you, and loved you very much!

Todd - "Our Daddy"
We all have missed you very much since you have been gone. Life is not the same without you! We couldn't of asked for a better "Daddy", you called us your sons and daughters because to you we were the chidren you never had. You always took time out for us and showed us lots of love. We miss you very much. Mom will write a little bit from each of us, and tell you how the past year has been without you.

We will never forget you "Daddy"

Todd,

Not a day goes by that I do not think of you. So many memories from the time you were little until a grown man. You know you always had a special place in my heart. I always thought of you more as my nephew than second cousin. I love you with all of my heart until we meet again.

Love you,

Auntie Debbie

Todd,
Hello my Brother,
Well for some, they say your gone, and some will be sad or shed tears. As for myself your right here at all times. As I sit here writing this I am talking to you. So very few these days think like we do "Brotherhood" Its truly truly sad when I have thoughts of the word "Brotherhood" you come first and foremost in those thoughts, and a lump forms in my throat, then I hear you and I smile.
Todd, I know you did not really believe in God, but I thank him, my Mother and Father, and your Mother and Father and our destinies that crossed our paths because I truely am a better man for it.
I know you know already but I do my best to look out for Carla, I can do no less. For I know you would be there for mine! Life is getting better for me, maybe because I am learning to appritiate the little things, and the most important things "Family", and just cherishing my loved ones more these days. Yourself played a big part in that! Well I could ramble on and on so I better close. Know this, though you may be gone, but by no means are you, nor will you ever be forgotten by this man.
I love you with all my heart -n-soul, your brother like no other until my very last breath.

Brad "Dirty" McCurdy

P.S.
I guess when I see you again you'll have to teach me to ski, only we will do it on top of the clouds.
