William Coots Obituary

WILLIAM EARL COOTS William E. Coots was born Sept. 30, 1934 in Lepanto, Arkansas to Claude and Goldie Coots. He died on Sept. 2, 2017 in Chico, CA. As a young man he and his family moved many times but finally settled in Feather Falls, CA and later in Oroville CA. Bill worked for 35 years as a welder at various Power Plants throughout the north state. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with his family. He also liked to watch boxing and wrestling and had a passion for watching classic movies. Anyone who knew Bill, loved him. Bill is survived by his life partner Alice Estes of Paradise CA, his 4 sons; Bill Coots and Randy Coots of Oroville, CA, Chris Coots of Benicia, CA, Robert Coots of Palm Desert, CA and his daughter Shellie Savage of Olympia, WA, 13 Grandchildren & 8 Great Grandchildren. To honor his life a visitation will be held at Oroville Funeral Home, in Oroville on Tues., Sept. 12, 2017 from 4:00 7:00 pm . A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Wed., Sept. 13, 2017, 11:00 am at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oroville. Arrangements are entrusted to Oroville Funeral Home (530) 533-0323.
