Gramma Rene radiated warmth and love, embodying beauty in her spirit. Despite facing numerous tragedies and the loss of dear ones, she remained a pillar of strength and comfort for those around her, navigating her own challenges with grace. Her generosity and affection were boundless. I cherish the memories of our trips to Arkansas to visit her, stretching back as far as I can remember. She would always prepare hearty, delicious breakfasts, and even now, the smell of bacon brings back fond memories, making me feel as if I´m right there in her kitchen. Throughout her life, she worked tirelessly, caring for many, and her hugs were the kind that made you feel completely enveloped in love. I deeply admire her strength, resilience, and independence, especially after Grandpa passed away, a challenge that must have weighed heavily on her heart. I aim to reflect the same generosity and kindness that my grandmother embodied. I keep close to me the memories and qualities of those I loved dearly, surrounding myself with reminders of their spirit and the warmth they brought into my life. Even though we may be separated in this life, she will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I will cherish the memories of her and love her always.
This is from my heart, her forever loving granddaughter La´Vette (Vetta)
