Ray Dowdy Obituary

In loving memory of Ray Dowdy Jr. who passed away at the age of 75 on Dec. 27, 2022 at his home in Parker, Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mary Ellen and Ray Dowdy Sr. He is survived by his sister Gayle Miller and her husband Charles, and his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. David Dowdy and his daughter Danielle Dowdy, and her children Charlie and Shea Korionoff. Brian Dowdy (TyAnn) and their kids Bryson, Brock, Talyssa, Terryka, and Tannyka. Megan Matthews (Randon) and their kids Brookyn, Tayli, Bryle, Dreylon, Ryker, Dawson, and Kason. Kyle Dowdy (Erin) and their kids Kyesun, Kayben, and Konner. Delaina Price (Braden) and their kids Beckett, Nixon, and Carter. Ryan Dowdy. Nadja Dowdy.

He was born to Mary Ellen Miller and Ray Dowdy Sr. on July 13, 1947 in Kingman Arizona. He graduated from NAU and also served in the military. He dedicated many years of service to the education system as a teacher, coach, and administrator. He also substitute taught after he retired.
