She was never just a friend...but she has been and will always be family. I am so sad she is gone, but I know she is with God and will watch over everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones at this difficult time and hope their hearts are lifted somewhat knowing she meant so much to others, including our family. I miss her so much already. I love you, Gina.

My heart is so heavy and deeply pained. We shared so much growing up together. So many stories, dreams and memories we shared. We laughed, cried, broke curfew, covered for each and usually got into trouble together. Our parents always had their hands full dealing with us as we didn't always make it easy for them. I sit here trying to come up with the words to say exactly how much you and your family has always meant to me and how much I have always loved you, but the words elude me as they don't exist. Only my breaking heart and endless tears can truly say it all. I have never found anyone who was a better and more dear friend. I will always treasure and keep our memories together deep within my heart always.
Love,
Carla Statum
