Carole Fowler Obituary

FOWLER-Carole Fowler, Beloved philanthropist and San Gabriel Valley's very own Ms. Manners, Carole Fowler of Alhambra, CA, born September 2nd, 1941, passed away on Thursday, July 15th at 5:45 a.m. at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. She is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Twisk (Jan Twisk, Son-in-law) and Cheryl Jacobsen, Step Children, Leslie and Brian Fowler, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Korbyn, Ben, and Dana. She is preceded in death by her parents Marion and Ben Bahnsen and her husband Bruce Fowler. Carole was a deeply loved preschool teacher at St. Edmund's School in San Marino and a dynamic business woman of eighteen years co-owning "It's Something Special" in the historic South Lake Colonnade with her dear friend, Suzanne Way. Aside from her precious family, Carole donated much of her time to the oldest, philanthropic women's group in California, The Shakespeare Club of Pasadena, where her absence will be mourned by all In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Shakespeare Club of Pasadena, House Restoration Fund, 171 South Grand Ave. Pasadena, CA 91105.
