David Van Etten Obituary

VAN ETTEN-< /B>David Wilmot Van Etten, born September 3, 1924 and passed away February 14, 2004. Dave attended Pasadena City Schools. At PHS and PJC he held the shot put record. A musician, he played saxophone and clarinet in the Big Band Era with several Big Bands. He served in the US Army in World War II, driving a munitions jeep to the Front Lines in Germany. Dave was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He was a Lifetime member of the NRA. A loving family member, he is survived by his brother, Dr. Peter G. Van Etten, his sister, Frances Pickett and 46 nieces and nephews.
