Dunstan SHELDON Obituary
Dunstan P. Sheldon passed away on April 5, 2015 at Rogue Valley Manor in Medford, OR, his residence for the past 8 years. He was a resident of Altadena for the previous 42 years. He was born in Mt. Vernon, New York and lived in Bronxville and Scarsdale. He attended the Taft School and
graduated from Lehigh University, where he was a member of the Psi Upsilon fraternity. After college he worked for IBM, selling "room-sized" computers. In 1972 he founded Sheldon Industries in Monrovia, which manufactured electric imprinters, electronic cash registers, and Catel Solar Circles.
As president of Sheldon Associates he consulted regarding ticketing to all the major North American air lines, British Air, Lufthansa, KLM, SAS and JAL. He held many patents. He was a member of Pasadena Rotary and the University Club. He is survived by his wife Anne of Medford, OR; son Bayard and wife Gina of Aspen, CO; son Charles and wife Dana of Sacramento, CA; son Peter and wife Jennifer of Mammoth, CA; and grandson Dylan of Sacramento, CA.
