My heart goes out to Louis who survives Mabel. She was a gift from God to Louis and he loved her with all his heart. And the best part of it all, Mabel loved Louis with equal passion and commitment. To see them together was to have hope in this world and the next

When I visited New Hope Church with my mother, Mabel was one of those special people I always looked forward to seeing. I will truly miss her and seeing that wonderful smile! My heart goes out to Louis and her family!

Mabel loved Everyone; and everyone loved her, too. I'll miss this tall, gracious redhead, but know she's with God. Love to Louis, Joan, Andrew and family.

If one were to look in the dictionary for the definition of gracious, caring, educator, spirit-filled...they'd all say "see Mabel". We'll miss you here Mabel. There's one more light in heaven.

Mabel was a wonderful woman. She was especially wonderful with kids. How many years did she teach Sunday school, in addition to all her other teaching assignments? Such a professional, such a lady, such a warm and genuine person. We will miss that lovely deep voice, full of inflection and grace, and her great smile. Prayers for Louis and her family.

I was so sad to hear of Mabel's passing. My thought and prayers are with Louis, New Hope Church, and all who loved and cared for her.

Mabel was truly one of the most gracious and kind people I have had the pleasure to know. She is surely one of the angels in heaven now and will be sorely missed, especially by those who loved her best.
