Patricia McSweeny Obituary

Patricia Ann McSweeny, 91, died peacefully at her home in Arcadia, CA, Wednesday August 17, 2022. She was born January 20, 1931 in Chicago, IL to Robert L. and Mildred T. Sullivan. Married Robert M. McSweeny August 14, 1954 and moved to California with the first 4 of their 7 children, 3 to be born in California. They lived in Pasadena and Altadena for all of their child rearing days and were active members of St Elizabeth Parish. Pat became a travel agent in the 70's and opened her own agency The Travel Arrangers of Pasadena with friends. Her love of travel took her all over the world. She and Bob enjoyed cruising together and shared that love by taking their children and grandchildren on many cruises with them. She loved to play bridge, do crossword puzzles, play hostess, watch sports, drive too fast, laugh and drink chardonnay with a side of ice. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and siblings. Survived by her children Debbie (Chris) Polchow, Dana (Tracy) Roberts, Kevin (Dawn) McSweeny, Curt (Denny) McSweeny, Robert (Kathi McGoldrick) McSweeny, Matt McSweeny, Amy (Mike) Hasenkamp, her grandchildren Andra, Jamie (Patti), Elizabeth, Steve (Camile), Aubry, Megan (Ignacio), Kyle, Mike, Brian (Alaina), Casey (Matt), Jake, Shannon, Quinn, Drew, her great grandchildren, Hank, Gemma, Dean, Delilah, Julian and Charli and many nieces and nephews. Pat's strong faith, her family and her love of travel were the cornerstones of her life. A Celebration of Life Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10am Saturday September 3rd - Holy Angels Catholic Church 370 Campus Drive, Arcadia. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to - Father Kens Vineyard www.fatherken.org or Holy Angels Catholic Church https://www.holyangelsarcadia.org

We were neighbors and friends on New York Drive in Beautiful Altadena. We enjoyed meeing and greeting the whole family.
Our Kids all attended the same Church and School participating in many fun Fiestas
and events.
We offer sincere and heartfelt condolences to Her Family and
