Richard Mountjoy Obituary
Richard "Dick" Mountjoy passed May 18, 2015 at his home in Monrovia at the age of 83. Dick was a former Mayor of Monrovia and a retired California legislator from 1978 to 2000. Dick is survived by his children, Mike (Suzie), Dennis, and Judy (Gary) Schaeffler; sister, Ivy Bledsoe; brother, Gordon Mountjoy; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. A visitation will be held Monday, May 25 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Douglass & Zook. His service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 26 at Sierra Madre Congregational Church.
