Dear Uncle Andres, This one's for YOU!

Hello Family and Friends,

I will walk in remembrance of my dear uncle. He was loved by many, especially young ones who were from the streets or raised by poor families.

He welcomed them in the boxing ring where they had a "chance in a lifetime" to compete and interact with others like themselves.

We will always remember you uncle for the goodness of your heart!

I am, however, helping the American Heart Association fight the nation's leading causes of death by participating in the Start! Heart Walk.

Step out against heart disease and stroke by supporting my efforts. Please make a donation so I can reach my walker dollar goal.

To Andy with love, 4/20/2006 I will always miss Andys friendship as we were neighbors for 11 years.......while watching our young families grow we shared alot of laughter and some tears. Andys own needs for himself seemed so few, if he had a single one........ providing for his family and anyone who seemed in need Andys work was never done. Andy had a love for life and his pride and joy was the family that he sired.......His dedication to see his loved ones dreams made true was something to be admired. Andy worked hard for everything he had yet rarely did he complain.......through all the hardships he faced he never failed to entertain. Andy made living life seem easy, as he always had a smile to offer everyone he knew..........Andy was a caring friend and who would see you the there, the whole way through. Ceasar, Mark and Luis our hearts go out to you........ for your dad was very special and loved by us too. wherever he was he made it a brighter place......and what better tribute to recall him than with a smile upon your face.

with all our love, the warner family Jeanne,Boo-Boo,and leo.

Dear Tio Andres,

I went to visit my Grnadma Lupe (your mom) on wednesday. She seems to be holding up pretty well. Then again, she has always been strong. She was telling me and my mom Gloria, that she doesn't feel like you have passed on. She says, she feels like you are just farway, like how you were in life. Then she said that the only difference is, now you don't call her anymore. To say hello or to ask about the rest of the family... She wanted me to Thank Everyone who knew and loved her son Andres. She asks for us to keep him in our prayers... and to keep his memory alive through our actions. Once again... Thank you everyone, for the Love and Respect you all had for our Beloved Uncle Andres Suarez Sr.

I also wanted to tell my cousins, Alex, Sammy, Andy, Ceasar, Mark Louis and Andrew... that even though, God has decided it was to time to call My Tio Andres... we all are here for you. Don't hold back if you need to call us and just hear a familiar voice. Count on us for anything you might need. We love you guys... and may god bless you all.

Love,

Hello Tio Andres,

I know that you are gone, but to me it seems like you are still out there at Riverside doing your training and enjoying life to its fullest because that's the way I always pictured you. I know everyone in El Paso is thinking that way. it seems very hard to understand that someone like you who was full of life could actually be gone. I find it easier to think that you are still living life to its fullest and we, "your distant family" are here just waiting to see what surprises you have up your sleeve, then reality sets in and my heart starts aching and my eyes get watery for a moment. However, I find comfort in knowing that you are now with our Lord and in a much happier place, dancing, singing and doing what you know best, entertaining and making everyone feel special.

I love you and miss you my Tio Andres. Your memories are cherished

Dear Uncle Andres,

It's been almost three weeks and I still find it very hard to concentrate at work and at home since your passing. I find myself in deep thought, thinking about what you might of been doing the week before and how you were here one day and gone the next, all of a sudden.

I know that I shouldn't do this to myself, but you were such a wonderful uncle that I still find it hard to believe that you're gone. I cherish all the wonderful memories and thank you for every single one of them.

I know that I will be seeing you again someday. I will keep this in mind always. You were a true blessing here on earth and I know that you have been rewarded for this in the Kingdom of Heaven.

You have been missed and loved by many, but all that we can do now is live by your examples and always lend a helping hand to those who are less fortunate in life, because we'll never know when it will be our turn; our calling.

May you Rest In Peace now Dear Uncle, and yes..., Til' We Meet Again!

I would also like to thank EVERYONE that loved my Uncle Andres (Andy) as many of you called him. He loved spending time with all his kids... he used to tell My Grandma (his mom) how much he loved training you all... he knew he was doing something good in life by helping those who wanted to be helped. He accomplished his goal. Now, it's up to you to pursue it. Make him proud like you all did when he was here.

I want to tell my Cousin Mark... that on your next fight... dedicate it to your Dad... eventhough he won't be there in the flesh. We all know he'll be there in Spirit. For we know he wouldn NEVER miss one of your fights. Make him proud Mark, you have the potential and the strenght... Tio Andres believed in you... and your Family and relatives also believe in you. Thank you everyone for the love and support you have all shown... Josesito Lopez... Good Luck in your April 8, 2006 fight. We will all be praying for you.

Love Always,

Dearest Tio Andres,

Your absence will affect many people that love you. Although, I grew up far away from you... I still remember how happy and caring you were. You had this presence that would let everyone know you were around. Tio, I will miss not being able to see you during the holidays, or during our trips to California. It saddens me to know that we have said GOOD BYE to you forever. I will carry you in my heart forever... and am sure that I will see you again someday. Tio Andres, I love you with all of my heart and pray to God that he takes you into his Temple. May you rest in peace.

Love Always Your Niece,

Tio Andres, we all miss you already. Eventhough our relationship was distanced by miles, we would still keep you in our thoughts, hearts, and conversations. Every time we'd remember you, we'd remember you either laughing or telling a good joke. We will miss your sense of humor and your simple ways of being just yourself.. When you left our world, you left as a role model. Because of the fact that we were distanced by miles from you, we did not know how much love others had for you but, as we were saying our last good bye's to you, we realized that not only you would be missed by your relatives but, also by your fans and friends. You have prepared your son (Mark)for the best, and many others as well, and we know that because of your strong effort and hard work, they will become champions very soon "just like you". Thank you Tio Andres for being such a good father to my cousins, a good brother to my mother, unlce, aunts, and a damn! good uncle to all of your nephews and nieces. I know that we will be together again someday and until then Tio Andres, we will re-collect time... May God Bless you tio, and I guarantee you, we will keep in touch with your 7 boys...

Your Niece that loves you..

Mi querido Andy,

Muchas gracias for being my coach. There are not many boxing coaches who would believe in a 36 year old chicana in the ring. However, you instilled in me the spirit...si se puede in the ring. During one of our last conversations you asked me if I had purchased my mouth piece...to which I replied, "Andy, yo no puedo en el ring!". You told me that I should try sparring at least once...I told you, "no way!". Pero sabes que? I will just once in your honor, but first I have to find the courage to train without crying. I will miss you! I love you. Gracias por tu apoyo!@

Con Amor y Respeto,

Acela

Thank you Andy,

For everything you done for me and the countless others. I would not be the person I am today if it was not for you. You helped me learn, that with hard work and heart, anything can be had. Your love for boxing and for helping young men stay out of the streets, gangs and jail will be missed by many. I am greatful for all of your time and love, and hope that I made you proud.
