Age 66, of
Riverside, California, passed away at home, with family at his side, on May 28, 2021. He was a hard-working, well-loved and devoted husband, brother, father, stepdaddy, papa, father-in-law and friend to many people. Curt was born on June 4,1954 in
St Louis, Missouri to Jude and Sarah Wyrick. He was the last born and only boy, with three older sisters who lovingly cared for him throughout his entire life. He joined the Air Force in 1972, and lived in Germany, Egypt and several places throughout the U.S., during his twenty-year career. He loved his time in the Air Force and would encourage any young man or woman to join our nation's military service, if given the chance. After a very fulfilling career, he retired and joined the ranks of the U.S. Postal Service, where he carried mail and made many friends on his route, until his retirement in June of 2016. Since retiring, he and his beloved wife, Pennie, have traveled all over the U.S., Canada and Europe, mostly in their trusty sidekick Casita trailer, and have made many friends and countless memories along the way, despite battling cancer for the last 18 months. When he wasn't traveling, he could often be found working in their garden, watching a Cardinals game or just sitting and enjoying life with his wife from his favorite spot on their deck. Curt is survived by his wife, Pennie Wyrick (Clark), of Riverside; sons Brad (Rosalind) and Matthew (Pamela); stepdaughters, Jessica Whitehouse (Robert), Holly Mann (Marc), Sarah Beth O'Neill (James) and stepson Matthew Clark; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Alia, and Guy Sloan, Allie Clemente (Saul and Liam), Maddy Wyrick, Lily (Israel) Allemand, Trenton Whitehouse, Ruby Whitehouse, Camryn, Parker and Mason Mann; sisters Beverly Coloma and Judy (Larry) Hoock; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Jude and Sarah Wyrick, sister, Donna Skube (George) and longtime friend John Jolly. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 6th, at 11:00am, at Sandals Church Palm Ave (6807 Palm Ave, Riverside), with Pastor Alfredo officiating, followed by a graveside service at Riverside National Cemetery. Arrangements Entrusted to the Care of 9695 Magnolia Ave.,
