Dear Marilee and Kate, I am so sad to hear of the passing of Jim. He was such a great man and a wonderful teacher. I will always treasure the memories I have of all of you from our years together at Hidden Springs School. Love and prayers go out for you both during this difficult time.

I grew up in Shafter and babysat Jim, Pat, and Andy many times. I even went with the family to the coast and watched Jim & Pat while Frank and other friends went fishing. I am sorry to hear of Jim's passing and pray for comfort for you.

I am very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I taught with him at Butterfield School for 12 years and, because of our mutual senses of humor and our conservative beliefs, became friends. We used to discuss articles we both read in the Conservative Chronicle and both loved to challenge liberal administrators during staff meetings. I remember Jim's Corvette he bought after he retired. He was very proud of that car. Rest in peace, Jim!
