Maryann Petroff
1930 - 2021
March 10, 1930 - October 9, 2021 Maryann passed away peacefully with her family around her at her home in Dana Point, CA at the age of 91. Born March 10, 1930 in Sandusky, OH she was the daughter of John Benjamin Riester and Alicia Cecelia Riester. She attended Riverside Community College and obtained an A.A. degree in 1980. She worked in Day Care at Brunswick for many years. She loved being with family, enjoying her rose garden, eating a good steak dinner, watching the Sopranos and listening to Andrea Bocelli music. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Andrew Petroff. She is survived by her 6 children Deborah Peterson, Brad Petroff, Sandra Penn, Mark Petroff, Craig Petroff and Renee Petroff, 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Today and always, we honor a woman who served others her entire life. She had a loving heart, gave unselfishly without expecting anything in return and touched the lives of many. She brought smiles and love to everyone she met and loved people unconditionally. She will be missed dearly and remembered for her golden presence. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. If your heart moves you, please make a donation to your favorite charity in her honor in lieu of flowers.

My deepest condolences to the Petroff family at the loss of your beloved mother. I did not know her but I know Sandy, Mark and Brad and I know how painful it is to lose your mother. May God help to ease your pain and comfort you in your profound loss. With love and friendship, Cindi Show-Jensen
