March 20, 1940 - September 13, 2021 A lifelong resident of Riverside, CA, Petra worked at Toro Irrigation for 28 years. She loved spending time with her family, especially during the holidays, where there was laughter, happiness and good times. Petra continued her husband's tradition by treating all the mothers in our family and their husbands to celebrate Mother's Day at the Pala buffet, where the family had lots of fun. She had a green thumb and enjoyed working in her yard. Petra was a gracious and caring person. Both she and her husband opened their home to various family members who needed a place to stay. She was preceded in death by her husband Ysidro (Chilo); parents Alejo & Victoria Zamora; brothers Ramiro, Antonio, Gabriel, Adrian, Luis, Rudy and Martin; and sisters Nicalasa and Connie Gutierrez. Survived by her children George (Crystal), Sharon Samano (Mike), Luis (Eve) and Carol Ollarsaba (passed away 9/27/2021); brother Peter and sister Isabel Guerrero; 13 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren. A mass will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Riverside, CA on Friday, Oct 22, 2021 at 12 pm. Burial will follow at the Riverside National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Arlington Mortuary, Directors (800) 275-4648 www.arlingtonmortuary.com
